As an eco-hijabi I love wearing denim, basically because it’s made of natural materials, which makes it environmentally friendly. However, I have often heard hijabis complain about not finding the right colour, style or material of hijab to go with their denim outfits.
While I admit that it can be a little tricky to style hijab with denim, it’s definitely not an impossible task. Let’s take a look at what you can do to beautifully work denim items into your hijab wardrobe.
The Triple Denim Look
While denim on denim is all too common, hijabis can always stand out in a crowd with the triple denim look. Wear your jeans with a chic denim jacket this winter, and top the look off with a denim hijab. There are a number of different brands that are actually selling some amazing denim hijab designs, shades and textures. These hijabs are easy to wear and usually do not even need to be pinned up.
However, they can often be a little sheer, especially if they don’t come with linings so it is recommended to wear them with under caps. If you don’t have any such hijabs, you can always go for a plain old blue hijab.
We hope that you’ll find these tips useful and will bring them to use very soon. If there’s any other way that you like to wear your denims with hijab, do let us know.
